What Actually Sets OTVPGamers Apart
I’ve played dozens of Minecraft servers.
Most feel like copy-paste jobs with a new logo.
OTVPGamers isn’t that.
SkyBlock? Yeah, it’s there (but) you start on a floating island with one oak log and zero recipes unlocked. No hand-holding.
You figure it out or starve. (I starved twice. Worth it.)
Factions runs on a custom land-claim system where bases decay if inactive for 72 hours.
No hoarding 200 chunks while you’re offline.
Creative plots let you build full towns (no) block limits, no permission walls. You want to stack 10,000 slabs into a tower? Go ahead.
Nobody stops you.
The economy is player-run only. No admin shops. No free money.
You farm, mine, or craft. Then sell at the global marketplace or your own chest shop.
Custom enchantments exist, but they’re rare. No “+99999 damage” junk. Just things like Tidecaller, which pulls water toward you mid-air.

How to Join OTVPGamers

You need Java Edition. Not Bedrock. Not mobile.
Not console. Just Java.
I’m not sure if they support 1.20.4 or 1.21 yet. Check their Discord before you try (it) saves time. (They change versions faster than I update my mods.)
Whitelisting is required. Go to their Discord, find the #whitelist-app channel, and fill out the form. No shortcuts.
No exceptions.
Their Discord is the only real source of truth. You’ll find it linked on their website. Or just search “OTVPGamers Discord” in Google.
It’s not hidden. It’s just not on every page.
First connection? Turn off resource packs. Disable shaders.
Close other apps. Your game might lag at spawn (that’s) normal. Wait thirty seconds.
You’ll see a welcome sign. Then a bot message with rules. Read it.
Seriously. People skip it and get kicked five minutes later.

Play Nice or Get Banned
I follow the rules because I like not getting kicked.
You should too.
Server rules exist so nobody ruins it for everyone else.
No griefing. No hacking. No spamming chat every three seconds.
Respect other players even if they’re bad at Minecraft Otvpgamers.
If someone breaks a rule, report them. Use /report or ping staff in Discord.
Don’t yell at them yourself. That just makes things worse.
Staff respond fast. They’ve seen it all.
Good behavior? Help new players. Build cool stuff.
Play fair.
